Principal Volunteers
SPLAT!'s volunteers are headed by a Principal Volunteers Group which sets strategic directions, plans programmes and proactively engages with stakeholders. It comprises of Group Heads tasked with mentoring volunteers and developing their competencies and Team Heads tasked with facilitating initiatives and realising volunteers' potential.
Collectively, SPLAT!'s volunteers will collaborate to lay the foundation, sustain the momentum and ensure that SPLAT! achieves its movement-level objectives in a timely manner while responding swiftly and decisively to the concerns, challenges and opinions of its stakeholders.
Strategic Management Group
Dominic LIM
Group Head, Strategic Management
and Founder
Dominic leads SPLAT!'s Strategic Management Group in spearheading strategic thrusts, enhancing organisational capacities, and developing synergies between its plans, policy and information management domains. He facilitates workshops about service-learing and youth delinquency in Singapore for educational institutions and social service organisations. Dominic is SPLAT!'s founder.
Dominic is reading Social Work and Political Science at the National University of Singapore, and serving as the Head of Outreach and an Executive Committee Member of its Society of Social Work Students. He volunteers at the Aftercare Service of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, the Meet-the-People Sessions of Tampines Central, and as a volunteer student social worker at The SBL Vision Family Centre.
Dominic is a Student Member of the National Committee for UNIFEM, Singapore and the Singapore Association of Social Workers, and a Member of the Industrial & Services Co-operative Society and the Tampines Central Youth Executive Committee.
Dominic's professional and service-learning portfolio encompasses experiences in the arts, community development, education, food and beverage, human capital, non-profit and research sectors. He is an alumnus of Catholic Junior College and Dunman High School, and served his National Service in Headquarters Republic of Singapore Air Force.
Dominic was commended with the Individual Award for Community Projects by the National University of Singapore at its NUS Student Achievement Awards.
Pirapong SEE
Master Specialist, Art and Design
Pirapong specialises in conceptualising, managing and developing SPLAT!'s public communications platforms.
Pirapong is reading Political Science at the National University of Singapore, and serving as the Team Manager of its Dragon Boating team. He works part-time as a freelance designer. Pirapong holds a Diploma in Interactive Media Design from Temasek Polytechnic.
Pirapong's professional and service-learning portfolio encompasses experiences in the arts, community development, food and beverage, information technology and non-profit sectors. He is an alumnus of Temasek Polytechnic and Tanjong Katong Secondary School, and served his National Service in a Signals battalion.
Implementation Group
CHU Yiu Tak
Adjunct Advisor, Implementation
Yiu Tak advises SPLAT!'s Implementation Group in spearheading implementation thrusts, and in developing synergies between its productions, publications, engagement and exhibitions programmes.
Yiu Tak is reading Psychology at the National University of Singapore, and serving as a member of its Canoe Polo team. He is a Senior Officer of the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
Yiu Tak's professional and service-learning portfolio encompassess experiences in the community development, food and beverage, and non-profit sectors. He previously served as SPLAT!'s Group Head of Implementation. Yiu Tak is an alumnus of Hwa Chong Institution and Dunman High School, and served his National Service in Clementi Fire Station and Central Fire Station.
Yiu Tak was awarded the Local Uniformed Study Award by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Lydia Melissa CHAN
Programme Manager, Public Education Book
Lydia manages the conceptualisation, drafting, editing and publishing of SPLAT!'s public education book.
Lydia is pursuing her General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) at Dunman High School, and serving as the Vice Captain of its Bowling Team, Assistant Student Conductor of its Choir and Community Involvement Representative of her Class Management Committee .
Lydia's service-learning portfolio encompasses experiences in the community development and social services sectors.
Services Group
Regina TAN
Group Head, Services
Regina leads SPLAT!'s Services Group in spearheading services thrusts, and in developing synergies between its stakeholder management, volunteer capital and success generation domains.
Regina is reading Banking and Finance at the University of London through a distance learning program. She works part-time as an administrative staff at the Yew Tee Citizens' Consultative Committee.
Regina is a Member of the Industrial & Services Co-operative Society.
Regina's professional and service-learning portfolio encompasses experiences in the community development, education, non-profit, retail and social services sectors. She is an alumnus of Catholic Junior College and CHIJ Toa Payoh.
Augustine CHAN
Team Head, Stakeholder Management
Augustine leads SPLAT!'s Stakeholder Management Team in creating, managing and developing partnerships with stakeholders.
Augustine works as an adjunct General Paper tutor at Dunman High School. He volunteers as a project coordinator at Cheng San Zone 'A' Residents' Committee and the National Committee for UNIFEM Singapore, where he assists in developing the latter's public education initiatives to educational institutions in Singapore.
Augustine holds a Second Class Upper Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Merit in English Literature and Political Science from the National University of Singapore, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with Merit from the National Institute of Education.
Augustine is a Member of the Industrial & Services Co-operative Society and the National Committee for UNIFEM, Singapore.
Augustine's professional and service-learning portfolio encompasses experiences in the arts, community development, education, entrepreneurship and non-profit sectors. He was a General Paper tutor and teacher-in-charge of the Drama Club at Catholic Junior College between June 2003 and June 2009. Augustine is an alumnus of Millenia Institute and St Gabriel's Secondary School, and served his National Service in a Combat Engineers battalion. He is the published author of a poetry collection Maiden and was mentored by Emeritus Professor Edwin Thumboo.
Augustine was conferred the Certificate of Honour for Inspirational Mentorship by the Nanyang Technological University and His Excellency President S R Nathan, the President of the Republic of Singapore, at the former's University Scholars Awards.
